Airbnb Africa Travel Summit

Chaired by the Senior Vice President for Global Policy and Communications, Airbnb brought together 200 international leaders in Cape Town, South Africa including Ministers and CEOs to discuss how to best utilize technology to accelerate the creation of opportunities through tourism. Afua served as the Official Host for the two day event along with moderating two sessions.
Visa Back To Business Series

Visa launched a four part virtual learning series to help small business owners improve their business skills in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Afua was one of four experts selected to host a workshop and focused on social media, community building, and brand partnerships.
Thinkific Think In Color Summit

The Think in Color summit is designed to celebrate, connect and educate underrepresented women who are thriving as entrepreneurs and online business owners. The summit served as a platform for women to share their message, cultivate successful online businesses, and thrive in any space they occupy. Afua was invited to return as a speaker for the second year

South by Southwest® dedicates itself to helping creative people achieve their goals. Founded in 1987 in Austin, Texas, SXSW® is best known for its conferences and festivals that celebrate the convergence of tech, film, music, education, and culture. Afua spoke at two events: Beyond Silicon Valley & Funding Tech In Africa and the Africa House.
